Co-Founder of the Center for Strategic and Foreign Policy Studies and Head of its Russian and Post-Soviet Studies

Co-founder, Deputy Director and Head of Russian and Post-Soviet Studies of the Center for Strategic and Foreign Policy Studies (Minsk, Belarus). Experienced policy analyst and area specialist (Russia and Eurasia) focusing on political and geopolitical risk analysis, domestic politics and foreign policies of Belarus, Russia and other regional states, Post-Soviet elites.

He graduated from the Faculty of International Relations of the Belarusian State University with a postgraduate diploma in International Law in 2007. He was awarded a Master’s Degree in Political Analysis at the School of Slavonic and East European Studies of the University College London in 2018. His dissertation was focused on the political, legal and governance aspects of the “Crimean bridge” project in 2013–2018.

He worked at the Information-Analytical Center of the President’s Office, Ministry of Information of the Republic of Belarus.

He was a 2016 Think Visegrad Visiting Fellow at the Institute of Foreign Affairs and Trade (Hungary), a permanent member of the U.S.—Russia Joint Working Group on Afghan Narcotrafficking (EastWest Institute, USA) in 2015–2016 and a Chevening Scholar in 2017–2018.
